Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH)
Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH)
Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) is central to building healthy and resilient communities. We work to ensure access to safe and clean water, proper sanitation facilities, and hygiene education for all, especially women and children. Our programs include the construction and rehabilitation of water points, latrines, and handwashing stations in schools and communities. We conduct community awareness campaigns on hygiene practices to prevent waterborne diseases and promote healthy living. SWRO also trains local hygiene promoters to sustain behavior change and community ownership of WASH initiatives. By integrating WASH with nutrition and health efforts, we reduce illness and improve overall quality of life. Our goal is a future where every household has access to clean water and lives in dignity and safety.
